Background

From Property Management to UI/UX Design, how did I get here? Let’s do some time traveling.

The 2 are a lot more similar than you think!

2020 - Davis, CA

My career continued as I headed to AZ as the Leasing Manager for an asset that didn’t meet business goals the prior year. I came in with wide eyes & a hunger to prove myself. I analyzed the products in the market, and acquired data to implement changes in strategy. I was able to get the property at 100% in just 8 months. Not only that, our property ranked as #3 in the nation in online reputation.

2024 - San Diego, CA

This takes us to where I am now! After having the privilege of being able to travel with my work, I decided to return home. Now, I manage a stabilized asset that underwent major capital imrovement projects. I collaborated with vendors, investors, on-site staff, and residents to execute seamless communication regarding these major projects.

My first real gig after college, notably landed right before COVID! I absolutely loved my time in my role as a Leasing Professional. Here, I was able to really connect with our clients during tours. COVID was a hard time for luxury housing as all amenities were shut down during this time. I adapted, and used this opportunity to gather information directly from prospects and streamlined the pain points. I used this information to make informed recommendations in leasing strategy to upper management. This resulted in the property, which initially opened at 14% to open at 97% the following year, surpassing occupancy expectations.

2023 - Columbia, SC

Next up in my journey was taking on a New Development Manager position in SC for a brand-new 679-bed property. Here, I led the recruitment and hiring of the entire team. I set the property up with necessary vendors, and was the liaison between the construction team, leasing team, and upper management. Before I left, the property was 100% pre-leased— it was extremely rewarding to see all the hard work and time I put into this role be reflected in surpassing business goals. This property sits at #1 in the entire company portfolio in online reputation.

2022 - Tucson, AZ
